POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of the accounts payable function for Blueprint and associated companies.
Part of the Accounting team, the Accounts Payable Specialist supports the smooth and efficient accounting operations for fast-paced and diverse businesses within our portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for all aspects of the monthly accounts payable cycle, including invoice receipt, coding, recording and payment across multiple entities
Communicate with Vendors to inquire about invoices and account status
Communicate with operations General Managers to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely delivery of invoices to AP
Ensure all invoices submitted are properly approved before issuing payment
Monitor credit card transactions for accuracy and record all transactions into Sage 300
Review AP Aging reports monthly to ensure all outstanding items are valid
Complete credit card authorization forms for Vendors
Communicate with Executive staff to coordinate signing of cheques
Be organized and proactive to ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner and Vendors accounts are paid on time
Monitor prepaid expense ledger for accuracy
Assist in reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Provide on-site support at festivals as needed
Other accounting duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience (preferably with a high volume of data), or educational equivalent
Interest and knowledge of concerts, festivals and nightclubs is an advantage
Experience with Sage 300 is considered an asset
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
