Description

Logistics Center (LC) Associate is responsible for all products being received and/or shipped out of the company with the established Service Level Agreements (SLA) set by the department.

A

Assists in other areas of logistics duties as assigned by lead hand, supervisor or Manager to ensure operational success.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:


  • EMPTY ALL GARBAGE BINS INCLUDING BIG BINS, CARDBOARDS &
SHRINK WRAPS INTO THE COMPACTOR FROM THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
(TUNNEL, END OF AISLES, PICK-MODULE 1 ON Both Sides, FLOOR AREA, CONFIG, VENDOR RETURN, AVNET, CUSTOMER PICK-UP, LTL & inside the Aisles (4 & 5), SHIPPING DOCKS & PACKING AREAS)-TWICE A DAY

  • GARBAGE BAGS TO BE PUT IN GREEN GFL BIN AT DOOR 10
  • SWEEPING OF ENTIRE WAREHOUSE & AISLES USING SWEEPER & HAND MOP-TWICE A DAY (Spotless on tour days).
  • ARRANGE & SORT GOOD AND BAD SKIDS & LOAD BROKEN UNUSED SKIDS INTO GFL TRAILER DOOR 3 24AND STACK GOOD ONES NEAR SKID STORAGE STATIONS FOR SHIPPING DEPT.
  • FLOOR CLEANING OF ENTIRE WAREHOUSE USING THE FLOOR SCRUBBER
  • EVERY FRIDAY.
  • CLEANING OF MEZZANI, P/1, P/2 & P/3, SORTER ONCE A WEEK
  • ASSIST MAINT. TECHNICIANS AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.
  • LOAD E-WASTE SKIDS ON TRAILER AS INSTRUCTED BY INVENTORY CONTROL
  • SAVE EMPTY MEDIUM SIZE BOXES FLAT IN STORAGE BOX.
  • RUN SCRUBBER M/C EVERY FRIDAY FOR 2 HRS. OR/AS PER TOUR REQUIREMENT
  • Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards in all functions performed during assigned shift
  • Fork Lift certified employees will be required to use various MHE to put away or obtain large items either at ground level of on high shelves, for shipping
  • The employee will review work requests or tasks for items needed and ensure proper products are put away or picked from appropriate area
  • Employee will use a RF scanner
  • Ensure complete product accuracy of each order, while maintaining set operational standards, so as to provide quality customer service. Maintain 100% accuracy
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs, any additional weight is to be lifted with assistance
  • Replenishes workstations with supplies
  • Participates in inventory activities
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse as assigned by your Supervisor, to ensure operational success
  • Adheres to all TD SYNNEX Canada, Provincial and Federal Health and Safety Policies, procedures and standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions:


Preferred Educational level:


  • High School Graduate (or working towards)

Type of work experience:


  • Warehouse Environment

Years of experience:


  • 12 years
  • Forklift experience preferred

Additional skills:


  • Computer Literate
  • Experience with RF Scan Guns and a warehouse management system, preferably SAP
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations

Special Training Required:


  • MHE Certification is an asset
