    Job Summary

    This role offers an exciting chance to delve into the major Capital Markets areas, focusing on the Canadian broker/dealer function for the Bank. The main responsibilities include assisting with financial control and reporting, partnering with various business stakeholders, and driving change through special projects and process improvements.

    Job Description

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Supporting financial reporting processes for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
    • Assisting in preparing commentary packages and financial analysis for senior management.
    • Contributing to special projects and handling ad-hoc inquiries for financial information.
    • Identifying opportunities to enhance current processes.

      • What You Need to Succeed
      Requirements
    • Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution focusing on finance, accounting, or related fields.
    • Currently in a recognized co-op program eligible for a work term from May to August.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications.
    • Strong leadership skills with a drive to excel in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Creative thinker with analytical abilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience in financial reporting.
    • Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
    • Familiarity with automation tools.
