We are in search of a skilled individual to join us as Principal Scientist – Pharmacokinetics, someone passionate about utilizing models to forecast therapeutic responses in human diseases. This professional will play a vital role in expanding our pharm-tox capabilities to expedite programs and minimize clinic-related risks. Responsibilities include pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling, human dose projections, and providing support to both discovery and development teams.

What your typical day may look like:

• Designing and executing tailored PK data packages for different programs
• Predicting optimal dosing regimens to showcase antibody PK/PD correlations across various drug targets and disease areas
• Supervising pharmacokinetics studies for antibody design and evaluation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate and interpret data
• Training and guiding junior scientists
• Exploring new technologies and models to improve human illness prediction
• Presenting findings to teams and partners to facilitate data-driven decision-making

If you have the following, we'd love to hear from you:

• Demonstrated success in building PK datasets for effective drug development programs
• Expertise in designing PK studies, conducting PK/PD data analysis using tools like WinNonlin
• PhD in Biology, Pharmacology, or related field, with over 10 years of industry experience; candidates with a MSc and 12+ years of industry experience also considered
• Passion for collaborative teamwork on complex biological inquiries and data set creation for therapy success prediction
• Effective communication of scientific/technical concepts with practical implications
• Inquisitive nature, keen on discussing innovative ideas in a dynamic and collaborative setting
• Strong documentation, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience in writing sections of regulatory submissions and familiarity with scientific/regulatory standards for bioanalysis of biologics (preferred)

What we provide:

AbCellera offers a salary range of CAD $141,600 - $177,000 per year for this role, based on your education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Along with the base salary, we provide equity, annual bonus linked to team and company performance, and a 6% (non-matching) RRSP contribution.
