Position Information:

The Regional Integrated Access Manager leads and manages the Access to Care team.

They provide leadership support and management for:

  • Integrated care operations related to regional partnerships for both Perioperative Services and Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Integrated care models for increasing access to care.
  • Perioperative data management & strategy, including managing The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) Access to Care Program and team, and being the key contact for Ontario Health on all issues related to the provincial Wait Time Information System.

What you will bring:


  • 4year Undergraduate Degree in Business, Health Management, Health related discipline or equivalent;
  • Minimum (5) years of related work experience in operational data analytics/system design and program/system level leadership;
  • Experience in the development of operational processes and procedures, including policy writing, and development.
  • Experience generating and analyzing data sets and providing reports and recommendations based on data;
  • Extensive understanding of databases and reporting systems;
  • Knowledge of TOH Health Information Systems;
  • Leadership competencies related to engaging, mentoring, and managing performance, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, and connection with direct reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills including a professional demeaner and approach.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to implement, facilitate and lead change
  • Strong demonstrated analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement methodologies
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and to adjust to changing work plans, schedules and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, in small groups, and in team environments
  • Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and conflict resolution
  • Strong skills in oral and written communication

You will stand out with:


  • Master's degree in business, Health Management, Health related discipline or equivalent;
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience;
  • Experience related to collaborative partnerships across healthcare organizations;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Access to Care provincial reporting standards and Ontario Health standards related to access, efficiency and patient outcomes.
