Summary:
The Regional Food & Beverage Manager oversees the overall food and beverage operations at PURE Casino Edmonton and PURE Casino Yellowhead which include: Retro Restaurant and Bar, ALTA Kitchen, Snax Noodle Bar, Social Bar and Meeting Room, Pearl Showroom, Centre Bar, The Mezz, Catering/Banquets and casino floor beverage service.

Job Duties:
- Leading, Mentoring, developing, and providing onthe
- Reviewing financial transactions and monitoring budgets to ensure efficient operation
- Implementing and enforcing service standards for food and beverage operations, developing menus and programs to drive revenue and create upsell opportunities
- Investigating and resolving food and beverage quality and service complaints in a timely fashion
- Attending meetings, training activities, courses, and all other workrelated activities as required
- Constantly circulate throughout restaurant, bars and casino floor, maintaining a high profile with guests and staff
- Be fully aware of trends in the industry and make suggestions for improvement of the operation
- To carry out or ensure that regular OntheJob Training is taking place to agreed standards
- Participate in interviews and the hiring to ensure that the most suitably qualified person is appointed
- Ensure that staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards and are not exceeded without prior consultation
- Ensure that company and statutory provincial hygiene standards are maintained in all areas
- Address all customer concerns in a timely and sincere manner
- Ensure that reports, payroll approvals and administration requirements are submitted in a timely fashion
- Manage the daytoday frontofhouse F&B operation and partner with culinary department to ensure consistency in plate presentations, food quality and portion control
- Hold regular meetings and preshift meetings with all management & staff. Identify areas for development and training needs and ensure that this training is effective
- Ensure that coaching and counselling is maintained in a fair, effective, timely and consistent manner while following all company standard operating procedure
- To ensure the prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, functions and beverages to the required standards
- Ensure that profit margins are maintained and agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems, sales analysis, menu costings and cash audits
- Ensure that restaurants, bars, lounges, and guest service areas are clean and wellmaintained
- Ensure that F&B team members understand the PURE culture and that they offer professional and courteous service to their guests
- Investigate and resolve all over/short variances outside the approved threshold
Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years F&B management experience in a multiunit environment preferably within a casino
- Able to effectively organize F&B teams of up to 50 team members per casino
- Demonstrated ability to control food/beverage and labour costs
- Strong motivational and supervisory skills
- Possess a highly developed attention to detail
- Proficient in English in both verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of pointofsale, computer, and restaurant software
Work Conditions:
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching and prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Must be available to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced working environment
