- Graduate of a post-secondary Secretarial/Administrative program or equivalencies.
- Minimum 1 year recent related clerical experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience with Meditech and Community Wide Schedule Module preferred. Experience with EPIC an asset
- Accurate keyboarding of 50 words per minute required.
- Demonstrated proficiency navigating software applications/databases required (including screen access, information search and data entry)
- Willingness to be cross-trained in other pediatrics clinics.
- MS Office, Email, Internet and knowledge of databases preferred
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), analytical, attention to detail and problem solving skills and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent attendance.
- Knowledge of the healthcare environment
