The Role
The Replenishment Buyer will support the Inventory and Replenishment systems of Johnvince Foods. You will ensure accuracy of 'on hand' inventory based on the needs of the operation.

You will also play a key role in monitoring shipments and inventory, communicate with our internal teams to generate purchase orders to optimize operational efficiency.


Your Impact
Inventory Management/Purchasing

  • Maintain detailed tracking processes for purchase order specifications, loading dock utilization, palletization records, equipment inspection reports and other logístical data.
  • Review receiving documents from the office and compare against received product reports to verify all entries have been completed in Syntax. Any discrepancies are forwarded to the attention of the Inventory Manager.
  • Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders.
  • Partner with our Receiving department to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any backordered or missing products.
  • Assist the Purchaser with maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis.
  • Communicate with our Production team to ensure that all inventory items required for production orders are accurate.
  • Ensure accurate product inventory counts in the warehouse, WMS and AS400.
  • Develop an inventory tracking system to streamline production.
  • Communicate with management about current stock and potential issues with orders.
  • Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues.
  • Report on inventory activities and variances.
  • Assess new inventory to ensure it is ready for shipping or delivery.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Communicate with sales and marketing and assist with pricing quotes and bids for prospective clients and sales leads.
Operation Analysis/Research

  • Enhance the productivity of important production lines to help increase profitability.
  • Perform internal audits and connect with managers to evaluate work processes.
  • Conduct test for process improvements and propose changes and prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Collect information by engaging in dialogue with staff, reviewing and monitoring production processes; by reviewing databases from the computer, and analyzing reports.
  • Journal and document reports based on recommendations.
Facilities Management

  • Put product code order in all Work Orders handed in from previous days' production. Compare WO's and prints a copy of all WO's and prints a copy of all WO receiving transactions processed the previous day. Reviews and solves any discrepancies between WM5 records and Syntax based on known practice, any that are not resolved are forwarded to the Inventory Manager.
  • Prints off negative inventory report for warehouse, checks each item in report to see if negative caused by 3% wastage and adjusts items back to zero if caused by 3%.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for key process that govern the installation and maintenance of structural components of the warehouse/ manufacturing facility.
  • Monitor costs and ensure that job costs remain in line with approved budgets.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking stateoftheart practices; participating in professional societies.

About You

  • You have a up to 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Genuine passion for continuous learning and development
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Bachelor's Degree, diploma or equivalent in Business, Purhasing or equivalent years of experience.
