BUSINESS DEVELOPEMNT REPRESENTATIVE

Position:
Full time Permanent


This is an Outside Sales position and in this role, you will collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets consistently, providing constructive, actionable feedback for improvements.


Key responsibilities:


  • Followup on leads generated by Marketing or SDR's
  • Build relationships with, advise, and close deals with new business clients
  • Scheduling initial meetings for the Sales Team / Consultants
  • Drive pipeline growth through strong followup and engagement
  • Maintain all leads, contacts and opportunities in a database
  • Research and evaluate additional leads / prospects through web research
  • Own the full Sales Cycle
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs

This job is for you if you:

  • Have 3-5 years of Outside Sales or Business Development related sales experience
  • Have at least 1+ years experience in closing B2B sales; experience in media sales considered an asset
  • Ability to consistently achieve or exceed predetermined sales goals
  • Have exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Have exceptional phone, written, and interpersonal skills; worldclass presentation skills
  • Have a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
  • Are self motivated, persistent and able to work independently
  • Have an indepth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Thrive in a startup environment where all teams are agile and ongoing reprioritization is required
