- Provide advice to complex and/or large clients, including analysis of financial results and renewals, preparation of reports and letters and any other group insurance related projects.
- Maintain a privileged relationship with clients.
- Manage and coordinate various projects related to the firm's operations and client services.
- Supervise the work of analysts and participate in the training of analysts and client service managers.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes in human resources and employee benefits, CRA tax rules, developments/trends in the group insurance industry and industry best practices.
- Initiate business development activities.
- Analyze the situation of potential clients and develop a diagnosis of plan conditions, plan summary and service offering.
- Prepare various business development documents such as proposals, presentations and/or reports.
- Meet with potential clients to present our group insurance consulting services.
- 10 years of experience in group insurance or relevant consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration or actuarial science; or equivalent years of work experience in a relevant industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of Word & Power Point.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking and positive attitude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
- Ability to lead a team and work independently and as part of a team.
