As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

Partner in recruitment helping develop programs and attracting staff.
Assisting with interviews, onboarding, new employee interactions.
Support interactions with educational institutions for both coop and new graduates.
Further develop our use of the Human Resources Management Software and

Learning Management System.

Development and review of human resources policies.
Managing the health and benefits plan.
Conduct new hire orientations and training of staff as required.
Develop and maintain employee handbooks and training documents.
Updating compensations and working with management to refine compensation framework.
Assisting in the development of an annual employee review process.
Opportunity to be involved with other aspects of the business.
Human Resources training from an accredited university/college or other relevant experience meeting the requirements of the job.
Excellent skills with digital tools.
Excellent knowledge of Canadian labour laws.
3 to 5+ years of experience in relevant experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently.
Calm and professional demeanor.
Positive selfstarter that can identify needs and communicate to management.
