    Join us as a lead – partner & category marketing (which you might call a marketing manager or a marketing specialist), where you will develop and oversee the execution of a variety of category marketing campaigns for Best Buy Canada.

    In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

    Make a difference on our retail marketing team as a lead – partner & category marketing

    What you'll do :

  • Develop and oversee thestrategy & executionof marketinginitiatives for defined categories, driving campaigns, promotions, and launches to achieve objectiveslike traffic & sales. This includes briefing,planning, budgeting,coordinating media tactics,andanalyzing post-campaign results.
  • Work cross-functionally with partners on marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of marketing tactics and their synergies, guidingvendor partnersand internal teams to effectively reach and engage target audiences.
  • Manage large vendor relationships and contracts to ensure mutual success.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to support the professional development and growth of the team

    • What we're looking for:

  • Strong communication skills, high attention to detail,multi-tasking,critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years in advertising, marketing or related function
  • 3+ years of experience in a retailor fast-pacedenvironment
  • Expert knowledge of marketing disciplines and both online and offline marketing strategies and tactics
  • Experience with marketing planning tools (e.g.Wrike, Asana, Trello, etc.)
  • Experience in budget management
  • Experience with mentoring/coaching
