The Treasury Analyst Intern is responsible for supporting daily cash management and long term liquidity planning. This role focuses on delivering and supporting liquidity, interest rate risk and other funding related analysis and reporting.

It also includes working closely with Accounting, Controlling and Regional Treasury Center teams to analyze funding cost, monitor risk position, and implement funding strategy.


Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and update regular economic reports and analyze economic data to support business steering and interest rate risk management.
  • Support daily cash management process and reporting.
  • Develop cash flows and forecasting model while participating in the development of longterm funding strategy.
  • Support the submission of monthly portfolio cash flows to headquarter and prepare related monthly reporting.
  • Monitor interest rate and liquidity risk limit utilization and assist in risk analysis.
  • Support the preparation of the monthly Assets Backed Securitization reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with the validation and any resolution related to the valuation of financial instruments.
  • Provide analysis and support during internal/external audits.
  • Assist with the establishment and maintenance of treasury controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of monthend deliverables and adhoc requests.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting is required
  • Advanced Tableau, MS Excel, including VBA is an asset
  • Experience working with MS Access, MS PowerPoint, SQL Management Server Studio, or similar tools is preferred
  • Statistical knowledge is an asset
  • High degree of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of data integrity/accuracy
  • Experience working well in a crossfunctional team environment, as well as with mínimal supervision
  • Welldeveloped analytical skills and proven mathematical aptitude
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Selfmotivated, resultsdriven with ability to manage priorities under tight deadline
