    Description

    Roll up your sleeves and dive into an exciting opportunity with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Our team is looking for energetic Truck Team Members who thrive on results, enjoy physical work, and love engaging with customers while cruising in our junk trucks. G license is required.

    What's in it for you?

    Location: Our trucks are parked are around Scarborough to minimize your commute time

    Schedule:

    • 4 days/week, 40-50 hrs./week
    • Enjoy 3 days off each week

    Pay:

    • Team Average: $22 - $27/hour (base + profit share + credit card tips)
      Top performers frequently clear $30/hr. + more (cash tips, take-home junk treasures)
    • Performance Bonus: Our bonus is better known as "Profit Share" Meaning, you make a percentage from the jobs you complete. What better way to ensure you are both paid well, but also based on the level of effort you have put into each job

    A Typical Day:

    • DRIVING: You will be responsible for driving our Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck to customer locations
    • LIFTING & LOADING: remove unwanted items from our customer's property into our truck
    • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide the ultimate customer experience, always resulting in a smile.
    • SALES & NEGOTIATION: Assess and quote customers on the removal of their unwanted items (We provide in-depth training) and pricing sheets the customer can view to easily understand our rate.
    • RECYCLING & DONATION: Did you know that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? aims to be as environmentally responsible as possible, while being sure to follow local regulations. We do our best to keep items out of landfills by donating the donate-ables and recycling the recyclables as much as we can.
    • TIME MANAGEMENT: Our business model aids in building your time-management skills, you manage your day like you are running your own business


    What you bring to the company:

    • To qualify for commercial insurance underwriting, drivers must be 21+ years of age
    • Possess a valid G driver's license
    • Have a clean driving history (MVR Searches the past 3 years)
    • A great attitude, reliability, and goal-driven mindset
    • Comfortable lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds repeatedly
