    Description

    The Operational Risk, Risk Quantification and Regulatory Framework Solutions Department is one of two departments within Desjardins Technology Group that support Desjardins's Risk Management Executive Division. We support the credit risk, operational risk, risk rating modelling and loan collection teams. We're responsible for the systems used for reporting regulatory capital to the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and for calculating economic capital. The department also uses behavioural rating systems, provision calculation systems and risk rating systems for credit granting and reviews. As a Denodo programmer analyst for our department, you are responsible for implementing and operationalizing high-quality and effective virtualization solutions that enable business sectors to quickly and securely use their data in real time for decision-making. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Design and configure new technology components and capabilities on the existing Denodo platform
  • Maintain a technology watch and provide solutions in line with emerging trends in advanced analytics
  • Help maintain and enhance the security of existing ecosystems
  • Cocreate with business partners to define needs
  • Collaborate with the development teams in the rollout of new solutions
  • Help maintain operational excellence through daily platform oversight and maintenance
  • Work closely with the architecture specialists and the programmer analysts on incident analysis, investigation and resolution
  • Produce or update required documentation

    • What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a role that includes data analysis
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Knowledge of data virtualization concepts
  • Knowledge of banking risk
  • Knowledge of the Denodo platform, SAP HANA Cloud, CData Driver Technologies, Data Services or other data virtualization solutions
  • Expertise in platform modernization, development and support
    • Complexity, Plans and aligns, Tech savvy
