CMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seeking
Traffic Administrator on a full-time permanent basis for the Vaughn location. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Team Leader at CMP Vaughan, the individual will be responsible to complete all assigned daily tasks involving picking, shipping, receiving and processing, achieve company goals while promoting the Quality Policy and assisting Team Leaders in the coordination of a safe, smooth and efficient operation of all shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administrative processes and procedures pertaining to picking, shipping and receiving as it relates to the Distribution of shipments to CMP customer locations
  • Responsible to monitor and print work orders to ensure orders are available to be picked and anticipated delivery dates are met
  • Regular communication with Production and Supply Chain Managers to follow up on outstanding product to fill current and upcoming sale orders
  • Regular communication with Customer Service to ensure any order specifications, modifications or status is clearly detailed
  • Review orders (shipped or pickups) and ensure work orders are printed for shipping to prepare for staging and/or loading as well as verifying on a daily basis that all scheduled orders are accounted for
  • Must ensure daily reports are reviewed and executed
  • Responsible to confirm orders is picked, and entered into RF scanners correctly
  • Coordinate ongoing logistics duties; Prepare BOL's for customer order and ensuring rush orders are organized and managed appropriately
  • Organize third party logistic deliveries as required and provide all required delivery information and paperwork;
  • Responsible to review and close orders, print packing lists and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
  • Schedule receiving and delivery appointments
  • To attend any required training necessary for the job
  • Report any incidents to the Team Leader that adversely affect safety, health and productivity of employees on his shift; this includes any violation of the company's Standard Operating procedures.
  • Ensures all work areas meet or exceed as outlined in the Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Implements any changes required as per the Health, Safety and Accessibility Committee recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Participates meetings as required
  • Champions the R.E.S.P.E.C.T. code of behavior
  • Ensure the Company's quality policies and procedures are followed and participate in Quality Audits as required
  • Complete all other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • 13 years of experience in a Traffic related role
  • 13 years of Shipping and Receiving/ warehouse distribution experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Experience using an RF scanner
  • Experience using an ERP and string computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and in multitasking
  • Familiarity with all regions of Canada and international related to our industry (preferred)

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift 8:30am 5:00pm
