    Complex Director of Sales, Hilton Garden Inn, Toronto Airport

    Silver Hotel Group is currently looking for a skilled Complex Director of Sales for Hilton Garden Inn, Toronto Airport. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest service and driving strong financial results. They will lead the way in creating and executing innovative sales strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients, all while bringing charisma, a positive attitude, and a drive for success to the table.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management leaders to devise and execute strategic plans for group and catering initiatives in line with the hotel's sales and revenue goals
    • Drive cross-selling efforts between the two Hilton sister properties
    • Efficiently manage and motivate a team of direct reports to achieve success
    • Mentor and provide guidance to the sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate market trends and dynamics
    • Foster a positive work environment within the departments by promoting effective employee relations
    • Continuously enhance the structure and processes of the Complex Sales Team to ensure effectiveness and success
    • Strategically position each hotel in the market and develop revenue-driven tactics through collaboration with the General Manager and Corporate & Complex Sales team
    • Identify and leverage each hotel's unique selling points against competitors
    • Work towards exceeding revenue targets by implementing strategies to attract new business and maximize revenue streams
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
    • Participate in industry events to network and generate sales leads
    • Ensure all systems are up to date and utilize available resources effectively
    • Lead negotiations and finalize contracts and hotel RFPs
    • Analyze client production and implement actionable sales plans
    • Develop plans for Group & Catering segments' growth and retention
    • Engage in community and public relations activities to enhance the hotel's presence

    Desired Qualifications:

    • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel, or Restaurant Management
    • Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience with a track record of leading successful teams
    • Expertise in Group & Catering Segments
    • Previous experience in revenue management
    • Demonstrated ability to empower and lead a team
    • Familiarity with Toronto Airport or the broader hospitality market in Toronto
    • Proven track record in new business development and proactive sales strategies
    • Strong analytical skills to optimize revenues and guide the revenue management team
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel
    • Openness to work evenings and weekends as needed
    • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
