- Respond to inquiries relating to all aspects of a personal lines and commercial lines claim.
- Investigate and evaluate claims on a variety of policies to determine coverage, damages, liability and settlement.
- Review and analyze policy conditions, provisions and exclusions for different types of claims.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Appoint claims suppliers (appraisers, adjusters, contractors, specialists, lawyers)
- Process payments (or denials) in accordance with established reporting levels, policy conditions and guidelines.
- You would like to change or start a new career in the insurance industry.
- Customer service oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Bilingual (French and English) due to communication with national colleagues and bilingual clientele.
