The Role:
We are looking for a self-motivated superstar Pharmacy Assistant to join Pocketpills amazing team at our location in Ontario.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver quality customer service to patients.
  • Process new and refill prescriptions.
  • Take/send refill requests and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Send refill and transfer requests to doctors and pharmacies.
  • Verify prescription information is complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses.
  • Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items as per the College of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Collect, organize and evaluate patient information.

Qualifications (Must-Haves):

  • Minimum one year of pharmacy experience.
  • Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
  • Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Detailoriented.

Required Availability:
Full-time, Monday to Saturday, 10am - 8pm EST.
