In addition to the regular wages and the additional pay in lieu of benefits and vacation, regular wage employees are entitled to shift premium pay:
$3.25 per hour for weekends and holidays
$2.75 per hour for evenings

In addition to regular wages, regular Wage employees receive 11.

2% in lieu of benefits and vacation leave:
5.2 percent of regular wage earnings instead of paid holidays
6 percent of regular wage earnings instead of annual vacation pay

Role Responsibilities:


  • We are hiring for the following Park Visitor Service positions:


  • Business Operations Assistant

  • A position to supervise the delivery of Visitor Services at both Kinbrook and Tlllebrook Provincial Parks.


  • Service Centre Supervisor

  • A position to oversee Visitor Services based at Dinosaur Provincial Park Service Centre


Both of these Visitor Service positions are located in the Brooks Dinosaur Area and are intended to support services in the whole Area; however, during the peak summer season the majority of work will be at the specific Parks mentioned above.


  • As part of the Visitor Service Program your duties will primarily be focused on providing leading customer service and visitor management solutions for the front line service team.
  • Key responsibilities for both positions include:

  • Staff Leadership
  • Support the campground booth and information services program to ensure staff receive appropriate training for booth operations, reservations, and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)
  • Provide ongoing supervision and support to information, hospitality, and booth staff through regular checkins, in person and digital communications, and provide timely follow up to the Visitor Services Supervisor
  • Maintain communication with other program areas to ensure visitors' needs and concerns are met, including collaborating with the maintenance services, Park Rangers, and other staff to achieve the best possible customer service available

Education & Information Services related to Customer Service

  • Keep current on activities, opportunities, and conditions of trails, water, fishing, etc, to provide accurate information to visitors
  • Plan and deliver activities to support special events (such as Canada Day and Parks Day)

Administrative Duties

  • Manage all Business Operations revenue, including managing floats, complete daily cashouts, bank deposits and revenue reconciliations
  • Assist with and provide support for seasonal recruitment processes
  • Assist with and provide support for staff housing (including pape
