PURPOSE:

Responsible to carry out daily tasks in compliance with SOPs while contributing to the efficiency of daily duties.

Duties include but not limited to:

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Carry out various warehouse and logistics operations duties such as:
  • Shipping, receiving, material handling and inventory control tasks in support of the team's daily activities using powered material handling equipment.
  • Primary focus is on material put away, and order picking.
  • Ensuring facility is clean and maintained throughout your shift
  • Ability to read and understand the company SOPs
  • Understanding of all warehouse accounts
  • Reporting any problems to your direct supervisor to allow for a safe and healthy work environment
  • Ensure the practice of Health and Safety on a daily basis
  • Staff will be crosstrained, flexible and able to move around within the team as demands and priorities change.
  • Show professionalism everyday towards all departments, staff, carriers, customers, and drivers.
  • Attitude is expected to be positive, motivated, and focused always.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


Certifications:
Must have a valid G Drivers License.


EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Must have experience with FTL and LTL

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

LANGUAGE:
English and French


COMPUTER:
Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, WMS system

  • Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
