About the role:

The Manager, MyStartr Program Delivery is responsible for all employer and community service provider relationships. This role will lead all program delivery activities including planning and executing hiring events. This role will also be accountable for achieving youth served and youth hired targets.


Key Responsibilities**:


  • Directly manage relationships with 30 + employer partners and three community service provider partners (YMCA Vancouver, Regina Work Prep, Toronto Youth Employment Services)
  • Employers: Meet with employers to understand their hiring needs and also explain how MyStartr works and our expectations from employers
  • Secure signed Memorandum of Understanding from each new employer. Decide which employers to do hiring events with and for which jobs
  • Decide dates and number of hiring events per employer
  • Follow up with employers to get hiring results data
  • Community Service Providers: Meet with CSPs to understand their capacity and number and types of youth they have.
  • Share employer hiring needs with CSPs and plan hiring events.
  • Communicate regularly with CSPs to support them and learn
  • Plan, run, measure and track all hiring events to help place 150 youth in jobs per quarter meet regularly with and support a three person team of youth coaches
  • Consolidate all data points (work with senior manager data & analytics, employers and CSP's to gather data) and write up all reporting deliverables to funding partners describing preparation, hiring activities, and results on a quarterly basis
  • Lead quarterly digital employers symposiums. Create agenda, lead as MC, organize speakers and panels, manage breakout rooms, manage satisfaction survey, overall ensure employers see value and are satisfied
  • Work with Marketing and Communications team to create content for quarterly employer newsletter with key updates, photos and stories to drive employer engagement and satisfaction
  • Continuous improvement of processes and partnership model seek efficiencies, innovation and process improvement opportunities

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate university degree
  • Experience working with marginalized youth or talent acquisition and/or hiring placement agency, government or funding reporting writing experience
  • Project management experience, plus overseeing operational teams and implementing collaboration, team processes and efficiencies, an asset
  • Program or business leadership and general management skills
  • Relationship management skills, organizational skills, people leadership, data and insights skills, corporate work experience ideally in a direct HR capacity, Power BI, events, Microsoft Office, Asana

Salary Range:
$74,600 - $85,000, up to 10% discretionary incentive, benefits and paid time-off.
