Attending to 40,000+ service calls per year, Gateway is the largest HVAC & Refrigeration service provider in Western Canada.

Our model is comprised of local branch teams with fully qualified personnel representing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/gas fitting, sheet metal and electrical trades.

These teams are supported by centers of excellence including professional engineers and project managers which ensures Gateway's full technical capability is available for every project and service call.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit work sites and conduct thorough analyses of customer requirements;
Design solutions that meet customer needs while maintaining profitability to Gateway;
Prepare customer estimates and proposals by analyzing drawings, plans and any related customer documents that demonstrate all benefits in proceeding with projects;
Present business proposals alongside the Business Developer and/or Account Manager when required;
Establish and build relationships with engineering consultants, enduser customers, suppliers and operations;
Track estimates presented to customers within the pipeline;
Pass over new service work opportunities to the Business Development team or to the Account Manager once project construction is complete;
Research new technology and design to sell into new and existing markets with guidance from the Business Development team;
Act as an design resource for all members of the Sales team;
Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Construction management, related area of study, or equivalent work experience;
Experience in Thermo Dynamics & Fluid Mechanics;
3+ years of experience Commercial /Institutional Refrigeration Systems;
Demonstrated Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Office products, focusing on Excel;
Class 5 Drivers License.
