  • Status: Temporary, Part-Time Position (January 13th, 2024April 24, 2024)
  • Salary Range: $21.82/hour

The key responsibilities of this position will include:_**- On site administration including opening and closing of the Dream Home.

  • Completing sales and transactions of dream home tickets with customers.
  • Greeting and thanking all potential dream home ticket buyers throughout the home in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the Dream Home in order to answer visitors' questions about the specific prizes, the homes or the agency.
  • Ensuring home safety and security by providing a consistent presence in the homes and by completing ongoing walkthroughs.
  • Walking the home and perimeters up to 5 hours a day to monitor for safety and security concerns.
  • The ability to follow BGCBigs agency policies and procedures in performing their role.
  • Ensuring all documentation is in order at the end of every viewing day including ticket and revenue reconciliations.

  • Previous customer service experience in a setting involving financial transactions (i.e. retail, sales etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Skills to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • The ability to multitask during busy viewing times, ability to navigate the two floor home, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Problem solving skills to trouble shoot difficulties within the dream home to ensure successful daily operation.
  • Confidence to process money and financial transactions in an accurate manner including cash, debit and credit transactions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using computer technology to process ticket orders.
  • A positive attitude and outgoing personality.
  • Saturday and Sunday availability. Applicant must be able to work a minimum of one shift per week for the duration of the employment term. Shifts are 10:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • Additional availability on statutory holidays during the selling period is an asset
