• Researches, develops, recommends, and executes creative strategies to foster several organizations’ diversity, equity and inclusion goals.
• Reviews current practices and policies, assesses and analyzes the extent to which they support or hinder the company's diversity goals.
• Collects and analyzes statistical data to evaluate the company's population in accordance with diversity standards and goals.
• Drafts and implements recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds with Human Resources Team.
• Develops and/or acquires training and development to aid diversity and retention initiatives.
• Provides guidance to management and human resources staff in the development of objective performance reviews and other employee evaluations and policies.
• Supports the DEI committee and their work on various initiatives with the committee members.
• Coordinates regular communication related to DEI education and awareness (including Cultural observances and celebrations, community news, etc.).
• Works with our Communications team to co-create a communications strategy supporting the DEI committee and JG DEI objectives.
• Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation and best practices both in Canada and Latin American settings.
