I hold a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from Red River College and have accumulated over 9 years of hands-on experience as a power electrician in generation, HVDC, construction, and city substation maintenance. During this time, I have honed my skills in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and safety. My role as a Technical Assistant at Manitoba Hydro for six years further expanded my expertise in attention to details, RFP’s, project management, technical support, and team collaboration within a leading Canadian electrical utility.

My qualifications include:

• Installation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Troubleshooting, Purchasing & Quality Control of High & Medium Voltage Electrical Apparatus
• Project Management, Site & Crew Coordination, Emergency Response, WSH Rep
• Creating RFP’s that meet Canadian standards that reduce liability and outages while improving quality of equipment being purchased (total cost of ownership)
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and coordinate with suppliers, field staff, project managers, purchasing and other engineering departments
