Bill Gallis

Mr. Gallis has managed or actively participated in a variety of human resources management assignments, including:

         §     Providing human resources management and occupational health & safety “OUTSOURCING” services 

               to a variety of clients and industries.

1. Provision of ongoing HR advise and coaching to various clients.
2. Development, implementation and administration of a comprehensive human resources management and 

               occupational health and safety program for various types of organizations. 

1.    Conducted executive search assignments for Executive, Managerial, Technical, Skilled and Administrative personnel.
2. Job evaluations, compensation review and salary surveys.
3. Job analysis and the development of position descriptions and specifications.     
4.    Development of performance management programs, e.g. performance evaluations.
5. Development of personnel policies and procedures for various types of organizations.
6. Interpretation of collective agreements, Canadian Labour Code, Employment Standards legislation,
7. Human Rights legislation and WCB regulations for various organizations.
8. Development and administration of employee benefits program.
9. Administration of collective agreements, including grievance, conflict resolution and employee discipline.
10. Developed, implemented and administered health and safety programs for a variety of organizations.

Mr. Gallis obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary. Upon completion of his Psychology degree Bill transferred into the faculty of Business Administration where his concentration was in human resources management. Upon graduating, Mr. Gallis continued his studies at the U of Calgary obtaining a certificate in human resources management and subsequent to his move back to British Columbia; he continued his studies in human resources, occupational health & safety and labour relations at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, WorkSafe B.C., the Construction Association of B.C. (Auditor Program) and the B.C. Human Resources Management Association.
