Carlie Yeung

I am a Canadian UK trained teacher with over 5 years experience in teaching abroad. Teaching is my passion and hobby, I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes as this is part of the learning process. I enjoy meeting new students and getting to know them. 

I have over five years of experience of working with children. I have worked four years as a primary school teacher specialising in English at Shanghai Arete Bilingual School. In addition, I have worked with children in EAL learning  in Nepal for four months and two summers at a academically focused summer camp for international students in Hong Kong. I enjoy working with students abroad and adapting learning strategies to each place I am at. 

I have a bachelors in Socio-cultural Anthropology from Canada and a Postgraduate certificate in Education for Primary School education from the United Kingdom.
