Chadi Garzeddine

Fourth year undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of Calgary concentrating in Information Security. Currently working as an IT Support Analyst at uService IT (uCalgary). Previously underwent a co-op at CIBC as an Information Security Coordinator.

I have experience in IT support, information security coordination, and education. I worked as an IT Support Analyst at the University of Calgary, where I resolved ServiceNow tickets, monitored network equipment, and provided technical support for all users. At CIBC, I was an Information Security Coordinator Co-op, where I reduced failures and non-compliance, developed PowerShell scripts, managed reporting structure, and wrote technical guides for security procedures. Additionally, I worked as a PASS Leader for Logic II course at the University of Calgary, where I facilitated sessions, negotiated conflicts, and created a positive learning environment for students.

I am about to my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Security from the University of Calgary. My studies span from September 2018 to April 2023. During my studies, I received several scholarships and awards, including the President's Admission Scholarship, TransAlta Corporation Entrance Scholarship, McCaig Family Entrance Bursary, and Hire a Student/Chamber of Commerce Bursary.
