About Chris Wakjer:

  • Designed PCB safety systems on an electric student race car 
  • Designed Battery Charging System and oversaw design of the Solidwork enclosures for the Battery Charger.
  • Worked through the full development of the circuit board which, included creating schematics, tracing, part selection, ordering, soldering, testing and revisions
  • The most complex board I designed was a board with an STM32 Nucleo that would handle analog and digital signals from various sensors and would shut down the car if there was a problem with the sensor outputs
  • Communicated with others in the electrical section to explain what I was doing and what we should include on each board
