Pharmacy Assistant Skills

• Greeting customers at the counter and retrieving their prescriptions and cashing out prescriptions. 
• Experience receiving written prescriptions from patients or by fax, and checking it for completeness. 
• Experience making blister packs.
• Experience counting and filling prescriptions. 
• Experience using Kroll to put in refills for patients by phone request or in person. 
• Entering patient information using Kroll and re-billing prescriptions.
• Experience ordering and receiving order and putting ordered items away. 
• Experience with helping customers locate Over the Counter items in the OTC section.
• Experienced in compounding creams and ointments, and oral solution medications.
• Desire to learn and grow in a position to accept more responsibility. 

Customer Service Skills

• Completion of the Service Excellence Customer Service Course
• Experience with computerized cash registers in a fast-paced work environment
