Jaspreet Dosanjh

I am a highly motivated and passionate 4th year Chemical Engineering student in the Process option at the University of British Columbia. I am interested in research and engineering related to environmental sustainability, fuel cells, and lithium ion batteries. I am passionate about sustainability and my goal is to help create a sustainable future. My last work term was a twelve month co-op with Dr. Wilkinson's Battery Cell research group at the University of British Columbia.

Research Assistant
• Worked on an industrially supported project for E-One Moli, learned relevant electrochemical skills (potentiostatic/ galvanostatic and impedance measurements), and assembled various battery cells. 
• Collaborated with engineers, scientists, and PhD graduate students with making, testing, analyzing battery components.
• Set up experiments (hardware/software) and data collection/analysis related to Quartz and 18650 cells.
• Wrote SOPs for various experiments conducted in the lab to assist researchers in performing similar experiments
• Conducted compression tests on battery cells to measure the strain and resistance of the separators
