John Savage

My name is John Savage, I'm 20 years old and currently work as a Customer Service Representative in the Chef Department of Farm Boy's Whitby location.  I am currently seeking employment that allows me to gain more working hours.

I have worked in the retail industry for four years, and in that time, I have gained valuable experience through constantly helping customers with concerns, such as directing them to product locations and making sure key items throughout the stores I have worked at are properly packaged, prepared and placed.  I am highly attentive to detail, always emphasize thorough completion of my work, and always willing to learn and take ownership of my work.  I am able to communicate in conversation-level French and am highly proficient in working with computers and technology.

With all of this in mind, I believe I am an ideal candidate for your company.

I currently work as a Customer Service Representative in the Chef Department of Farm Boy's Whitby location, having done so since November 2022.  Key responsibilities include preparing and packaging foods served by the kitchen, both hot and room temperature, cleaning up the area premises as needed, listening to and addressing customer inquiries in a timely fashion and assisting coworkers as needed.

Previously, I worked as a Stocker at FreshCo's Brooklin location, from February 2020 to August 2022.  Key responsibilities in this role included retrieving store carts from the store parking lot in a safe and timely manner, assisting customers in locating items throughout the store, restocking all assigned areas with appropriate products and facing all shelves as needed.

I am currently studying Sport Management at Durham College.  I started this 3-year program in September 2022 and will conclude my studies in April 2025.
