I am passionate about developing cutting edge software products while also cultivating my skills.

I have worked two student research positions at Carleton University. 

The first required me to collect bio-mechanical data from participants performing various exercises. This data was stored in MATLAB files, I wrote a MATLAB script to reformat and export these files into CSV files.

The second required me to work with a PhD student who wrote a machine learning algorithm. This algorithm would read the previously recoded data sets and predict the exercise the participants did. I collected more data sets from various universities around the world and developed various methods to format and read in data from various file formats (txt, dat, log) and structures. Once the data was read in, I wrote code to produce graphs to visualize segment data of specific exercises and charts to see the relationship between subjects and exercises. Lastly, I implemented quality control measures to identify and correct mislabeled exercises, safeguarding dataset integrity.

I recently graduated from Carleton University with a bachelors in Computer Systems Engineering in May 2023.
