An accomplished EFL/EAP/ESP Teacher, Academic Director, and Senior Teacher with profound knowledge of teaching monolingual and multilingual classes of varying levels and ages, along with preparation for exams such as Cambridge and IELTS. A dedicated and conscientious educator with 30 years of experience in the ELT field, including teaching English in language institutes in Greece, and higher education in the UK as an EAP Tutor (UG/PG) pre-sessional/in-sessional university courses and in British summer camps. Also taught in the United Arab Emirates & KSA for government-sponsored Vocational Technological Educational Institutes, and EAP in China with partnership programs between UK universities and held middle management posts in East Timor & Tajikistan. You will see from my resume that I acquired a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Liverpool in 1988. I am currently completing the Cambridge ESOL Delta, having already finished Module 2 with Merit and obtaining the Cambridge CELTA (Grade B) in 2011. Besides that, I attended an eight-month DOTE course (Diploma for Overseas Teachers) in 1995 - 1996 and a Cambridge-accredited Director of Studies course in June 2010. I also have the knowledge and practical experience of the Cambridge Exams (YLE, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), IELTS as I have been trained and standardized as a Speaking & Writing examiner and recently undergone OET training (May / June 2021).
