Meleq Hoxhaj

Graduated with bachelor and master degree in economics at the University of Vlora Ismail Qemali in 2016. I then applied for a professional master in banking and finance at the renowned Epoka University in Albania [2020-2022] where I further enhanced my analytical and computational skills. Meanwhile, I have been conducting a variety of research (in economics, banking and finance) as an independent scholar. Specifically, I collected and analyzed primary and secondary datasets using different tools (e.g., SPSS and eView) and presented them (through Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides) to a diverse audience. Moreover, since 2017 I have been working as an economist in a number of companies and institutions (including Albanian Custom Administration). As an economist, I got the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills I acquired into practice, as well as to improve and gain new analytical (e.g., getting better and faster in obtaining data from Bloomberg Terminal and Word Bank) and interpersonal skills (e.g., communication and teamwork).

More than 3 years of experience as an economist in private company and for Albanian Customs Administration.
