Jade Lenton

Hello! I'm currently a student at the University of Toronto, doing the Management Specialist in Rotman Commerce. Along with my academics, I'm a Captain on the University's Varsity Track team. 

Over the last few years I've gotten experience through a number of coaching opportunities. I've been a Junior Development Coach of track and field for three consecutive summers, where I collaborate with a coaching team to lead young athletes through their training programs and support them at competitions. Last summer I was the Program Coordinator of the Track Rascals Division at my local club, where I developed and implemented a ten-week program introducing youth to the sport of track in a fun and engaging way, and then organized and led a team of coaches to deliver my program. Currently, I'm working as the head coach of the Rising Stars camps, a series of month-long introductory track camps run through the University of Toronto. I've also spent a few months volunteering with Run.BC, a new start-up whose goal was to become the go-to platform for everything track and field in BC. I was one of their main content writers from last May to August; my primary goal was to highlight a couple athletes to watch for at each upcoming event, and then to again choose a few to spotlight in a recap afterwards. In addition to this, I also assisted with the social media, and my duties ranged from posting on the Instagram page to sending out MailChimp emails. 

I'm currently a second year student at the University of Toronto. I'm enrolled within the Management Specialist of Rotman Commerce, with intentions of doing a focus in both Leadership in Organizations and in Finance.
