Currently I am Senior Systems developer and Architect for a mining and reclamation company. For the
past three years I have been developing software and systems in relation to Employee, Heath and Safety, Quality and Procurement management.
I am Also leading the Development and Implementation of the automation of all mining plants.
Further I have 9 years of experience in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Electrical and
Construction- Quality and Safety industry. Previously lending my time
and expertise to various companies over a multitude of areas such as
information technology, Health and Safety systems.
I have extensive knowledge in the Microsoft Power Platform, which is my
current preferred development environment.
I also have an integral knowledge of the newly launched ISO 45001:2018,
OHSAS 18001:1999/2007 system and ISO 9001:2015 accompanied by an
extensive knowledge of various Risk management processes, incident
investigations, external and internal auditing. During my employment in
April 2018 it was under my guidance we acquired and became the first
company in Africa and the first portion of a multinational to acquire the
45001:2018 Certification Standard in regards to the EHS Management
system.
