Pavan Kaur

I am a 18 year old University of Calgary student, entering my second year of University this fall. I am looking for a full time position to build my knowledge and experience different work environments. I am a reliable and mature individual who is willing to work hard. I have prior experience in an environment where I work with a team and individually. I would love to explore more workspaces and build connections. 

One of my first jobs during June 2020 - Jan 2021 was at A&W and I was a cashier, this job was located in Brampton, Ontario. This is the job where I learnt majority of my customer service, patience, communication, time management, efficiency and problem solving skills. I had to leave this job due to my relocation to a different city that was 1 hour away.

My second job was located in Paris, Ontario and I was a cashier and stocker at Canadian Tire. I worked this job from Aug 2021 - April 2022. At this job I improved all the skills I had learnt while working in fast food. I got more exposure on how to deal with different personalities while working in returns. I had to leave this job because of my move from Ontario to Alberta. 

I am currently working remotely since Nov 2022 for FirstService Residential. My position is an Accounts Payable Assistant. Part of my job is too research invoices, escalate invoices for payment, write emails and report AP issues back to management.

I am currently enrolled at University of Calgary studying a Bachelors degree in Urban Studies.
