OPERATIONS MANAGER | Hellios Information BV – Amsterdam     (MAY 2023 – SEP 2023)

As the company grew and I developed, I was made Operations Manager, this meant I was in charge of all operations within the organization. I would be in charge of all hiring, HR, training and development of all team members within the Operations Team. My tasks included but were not limited to creating a budget plan and setting out targets for the team to ensure the targets were met. It was my responsibility to present any plans to senior management and ensure these were accepted and met. More than the previous jobs, this job made me look more at the company at a higher level and at the direction the company would move to. It also taught me to think more strategically.

OPERATIONS TEAM LEAD | Hellios Information BV – Amsterdam   (MAR 2022 – MAY 2023)

After almost 1.5 years in the Customer Service team, I was promoted to Operations Team Lead. This meant I would be in charge of leading, dividing and motivating the day during their day-to-day tasks. I would oversee planning their tasks and was the first point of call for any escalations. I was also responsible for any training provided or organized for the team. Still part of a fairly small start-up meant that in this role I managed 3 people directly and was part of the management team andtherefore third in charge for the company. In this role I also took a Management & Leadership Course (level 3) to develop my management skills, I received the certificate for this in May 2023.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE | Hellios Information BV – Amsterdam ​​     (OCT 2020 – MAR 2022)

In my first job back in the Netherlands I work as a Customer Service Representative. While working at this start-up, I am the first point of contact for key suppliers of two large Dutch financial institutions. We support over 700 suppliers in their registration of supplier compliance information, to ensure that the financial institutions comply with current and future regulations.

As the first Dutch national to work for this company and third overall, I am learning first-hand what it entails to run a business. It also allows me to work in various areas of the business and it is helping me gain a deeper insight into some of the biggest companies in the world. All while making 40+ calls and answering 25+ emails a day in a highly professional and multilingual environment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER & LOCAL HOST | Tourism Holding Ltd – New Zealand & Australia (JULY 2018 – SEP 2020)

I worked for Tourism Holding Limited in customer facing roles at three locations in two countries. In my last four months in Australia, I worked as a Customer Service Manager, which is more of an operational and team leading role. I loved working in the tourism industry, because I would meet and connect with a lot of like-minded people.

I did well in the roles due to my passion for travelling and my understanding of the needs and expectations. It is also in my personality help other and ensure others have the best possible time. I enjoyed building relationships and to make sure people left with lasting memories.
