I am a highly motivated and analytical professional currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Economics at Concordia University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the American University of Central Asia. With a GPA of 3.85/4.3, I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning recognition such as the Concordia Faculty of Arts and Science Masters Award. My diverse work experiences include internships at Zurich, where I engaged in risk assessments, policy renewals, and underwriting decisions for Middle Market and Specialty Lines. These roles equipped me with a strong foundation in the insurance industry and showcased my adeptness in handling complex data analysis. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Economics at Concordia University, where my academic journey reflects a commitment to excellence with a GPA of 3.85/4.3. Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the American University of Central Asia. Throughout my academic career, I have engaged in impactful research projects that showcase my analytical and research capabilities. Notable among these projects is the investigation of the urban-rural mortality difference, where I examined the impact of safe drinking water on longevity using historical data and advanced statistical methods. In another project, I explored the relationship between income inequality and conspicuous consumption using data from Canada's 2019 Survey of Household Spending. Additionally, I delved into healthcare-related studies, investigating correlations between Hospital-Acquired Conditions (HACs) and hospital settings, as well as analyzing healthcare as a luxury good in Kyrgyzstan using the Life in Kyrgyzstan dataset. These projects underscore my proficiency in research methodologies, econometrics, and the application of statistical tools to address complex socioeconomic questions.
