I am a litigation associate at Shibley Righton LLP, a well-recognized and respected law firm in Toronto, specializing in commercial and civil litigation.

Driven by my passion for law, I went to law school right after high school because I didn’t want to waste any time pursuing my dream. I have successfully defended clients in the Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, and various tribunals. My dedication to representing client interests is evident in my diligent analysis of case merits, risk minimization, and achievement of positive resolutions in complex legal matters. My strengths lie in securing case dismissals, negotiating advantageous settlements, and winning favorable verdicts at all court levels.

I am also a contributing author to the Annual Review of Civil Litigation 2018, with my article titled “Sexual Aggression and the Civil Response” being regularly cited by appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Currently, I serve as a Litigation Associate at Shibley Righton LLP, where I manage a diverse range of litigation matters, including professional negligence claims and complex commercial disputes. My responsibilities encompass analyzing case documents, developing strategic approaches, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court. Notably, I successfully secured a large institutional client, demonstrating my ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.

Prior to this, I served as Executive Legal Counsel at Capital Staffing Solutions, where I supported integration planning for new acquisitions and facilitated negotiations of transaction terms. My experience also includes roles as an Associate, Articling Student, and Graduate Student at FCL LLP, where I handled complex professional liability, construction, and other insurance litigation files, successfully representing clients at trials and motions.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and an ability to manage high-pressure situations. I have authored settlement agreements, conducted due diligence for transactions, and written legal documents for senior partners, consistently delivering successful outcomes for my clients.

I hold an LL.B (Hons) from BPP Law School in London. As I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer, I went to law school right after high school. I was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. Later on, in 2020’ I obtained my Certificate in Entertainment Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. My academic journey has provided me with a solid legal foundation and a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of commercial litigation, which I have applied throughout my professional career.
