Experience
I have more than 10+ years extensive experience in pharmacy practice as Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager. I led a team of more than 7 members, dealing with pharmaceutical companies, building long-term relationship with physicians and medical representatives, and managed all of the financial tasks.
In my role as a Pharmacovigilance Associate at BioScript Solutions, I have conducted medical evaluations of adverse event reports, source data verification, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. I have successfully managed the pharmacovigilance mailbox, identified cases requiring expedited reporting to clients and Health Canada, and liaised with corporate pharmacovigilance for case management. I have reviewed pharmacovigilance agreements for clients and service providers, created and reviewed policy and procedures in which I gained a deeper understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry. Furthermore, I have developed solid interpersonal and communication skills required in any role.
In addition to my technical skills, I am dedicated to training and developing team members, assisting in conducting local audits and inspections, and ensuring continuous improvement in pharmacovigilance processes.
Education
My educational background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree, where I gained a comprehensive understanding of drug mechanisms, clinical safety, and experience in creating fair and scientifically balanced materials and documents.
In 2021, I completed a QA / Regulatory Affairs Post-Graduate Diploma to further enhance my knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices.
And now I've enrolled in Clinical Public Health & Health Research course to understand better the Canada’s perspective on health research methods where I will gain and learn research skills, research processes, write concise reports, qualitative and quatitative methods.
