Sunayana Veeraraghavan

I’m a dedicated and compassionate nursing student currently working toward my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with University of Windsor. I have hands-on clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings. I’m passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and continuously building my skills in areas such as medication administration, patient education, and interdisciplinary teamwork. I’m currently seeking a part-time or casual position for the summer where I can apply my knowledge, contribute to a collaborative team, and continue learning in a real-world healthcare environment. I'm reliable, hardworking, and eager to make a positive impact on patients and their families.

As a nursing student, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience in diverse healthcare settings, including medical-surgical, long-term care, post-operative, neuro and telemetry units. I’ve developed strong foundational skills in patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and collaborative care. Through my placements, I’ve learned to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, while prioritizing safety and compassionate care. I’m eager to continue building on this experience in a professional role.

My most recent placement at Windsor Regional - Ouellette campus was on a medical-surgical unit where I provided care for patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. I gained hands-on experience in patient assessments, wound care, mobility support, post-operative care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs. I also practiced time management, prioritization, and documentation in a fast-paced environment, while working collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to deliver safe and effective care.
