About tasha rutledge:

I have a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Alberta in 2005, and a Teaching English as a second language certificate (level 5) TEFL Academy 2023. I tutor all ages and have been a substitute teacher up to recently: k-12 in all subjects. I have a NAIT Office Technology Certificate 2022: Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Google Suite. I have many years of customer service experience working in Jasper AB after high school until I was a teacher. I worked in the hotel and tourism industry and also drove a tour van as a wildlife tour guide one summer (2004/05). I am a people person, with excellent communication skills. I am passionate about helping students find success and creating a positive productive work environment.

Experience

Graduated as Secondary Social Studies and English Literature Teacher, subbed in many schools/ districts, tutored all ages including adults with English skills in writing, comprehension, grammar, interpretation of literature, conversational and essay writing. Essays for history, politics, and Earth Science/ space science understanding for school. I have worked with special needs youth that requires varied ways of learning (ie: autism and adhd or other learning disabilities). I worked with School is Easy tutoring company in Edmonton in 2020-2022. I have worked with people from all over the world while living in Jasper AB and enjoy learning about other cultures. I loved working in hotels and tourism as well. Helping people is my main goal at work.
