    The Ministry of Highways is committed to providing an integrated transportation system supporting economic growth and prosperity for Saskatchewan citizens.

    The Design and Construction Division within the Ministry is responsible for successfully delivering the annual capital and preservation construction program.

    The Construction Branch has an opportunity for a dynamic and innovative leader to join the Construction Standards team as Manager, Quality Assurance .

    Based in Regina, this position will allow you to leverage your analytical skills, technical expertise, and passion for service excellence to support the delivery of the annual capital and preservation program in collaboration with diverse teams of dedicated professionals.

    Manage a technical team of engineers and technologists in an environment of continuous improvement and accountability;
    Monitor engineering and project delivery workflows across centralized branches and units;
    Collaborate with Design and Construction Delivery teams toward improved project delivery processes, practices and risk management;
    Set and develop quality assurance performance standards and metrics;

    Ensure compliance with the ministry's construction standards and risk management protocols; Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to construction tendering and project delivery.

    Demonstrates advanced knowledge and expertise in highway construction related to project management, design, construction and project delivery, including project governance, risk management and fiscal management;
    Demonstrates advanced knowledge and expertise in Quality Assurance principles and practices;

    To qualify for this position, you must also be eligible to register for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), along with having several years of experience and knowledge of highway design, construction, maintenance, and operations within Saskatchewan.
