The Registered Pharmacy Technician will provide safe and effective drug distribution services to numerous facilities. This may include gained knowledge in geriatrics, palliative care, and mental health medications as well as developing quick and accurate checking skills to support final checks in compounding, compliance packaging and other prescription requirementsAssist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions
Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll
Accreditation as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing and adherence to the Standards of Practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Experience as a Registered Technician is an asset
Advanced experience in a Long Term Care pharmacy
