    Description

    Immediate opening for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time opening for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Earthmovers Equipment Services Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Must be able to diagnose and repair faults independently both on-site and in the shop.

    Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulics
    • Experience with diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in heavy equipment
    • Ability to diagnose faults independently
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
    • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid driver's license
    • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and perform manual labor
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Must have own tools
