Position Summary

We're looking for outgoing, professional, guest service driven individuals who want to become
Servers and join our Food & Beverage Team.

You will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders and serving our guests.

You will also provide unrivaled personalized services to our guests while also maintaining regard for our rules, regulations and outlet operational guidelines.

This position requires flexibility for scheduling including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.

Key Accountabilities

Taking guest orders and making recommendations;
Entering orders into (POS system)
Assisting with room, table setup and take down for banquet functions
Performing pre/post shift duties including folding napkins, restocking, ensuring that tables are clean, etc
Buffet and/or coffee station setup and take down
Processing lottery transactions
Explaining how menu items and beverages are prepared, and informing guests of any daily specials
Presenting bills upon request and taking payments by credit card, debit cards and cash
Ensuring food is expedited in a timely manner
Assisting other servers as necessary, and covering other sections as needed; Restocking and replenishing areas as required
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

Minimum one year of relevant experience in a high volume environment
Banquet serving experience is an asset
Previous POS experience an asset
The ability to stand for long periods of time
High school diploma; post secondary education considered an asset;
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests;
Excellent multitasking skills
A passion for providing Unrivaled Personal Service to our guests
Serving it Right Certification
The ability to successfully obtain and/or maintain a Criminal Record and Credit Check

Work Environment Considerations

Regular casino, restaurant or bar environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching and nontraditional work hours
