Our IT organization has a critical role in driving extraordinary business results.

**The M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) Operations Compute team focuses on the accessibility and reliability of current systems and infrastructure while at the same time looking to improve the environment by taking advantage of the latest cloud computing offerings.

  • Implements, and supports the M&A compute infrastructure.
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
  • Maintains inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  • Provide support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Create new / maintain existing physical/virtual servers and configure peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Develops and documents system standards for computer and network devices
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor being able to articulate and present solutions and their associated business value to internal customers, team members and management.
  • Experiment with new AWS, GCP, OCI, & Azure services and evangelize the benefits.
  • Be available to respond to after hours critical issues.

Required Skills:


  • 25 years+ Windows System Administration experience supporting, implementing and/or administering services such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print Servers, DFS, Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • 25+ years of handson Linux (various distributions) System administration experience.
  • 25+ years of VMWare ESXi experience.
  • Ability to negotiate hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors.
  • 25+ years of SQL Database Administration. Experience with Clusters, Availability Groups, Failover Cluster, and backups strongly preferred.
  • 25+ years experience with Dell, Cisco, HPE infrastructure hardware support. Cisco UCS and experience with Fiber Channel is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with Nutanix. (preferred)
  • Experience with Commvault Backup and Recovery Software. (preferred)
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP or Oracle. (preferred)
